About Jessica Lake Therapy
With more than a decade of experience in speech therapy in private practice and educational settings, I have developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in addressing a wide range of speech and language disorders, including stuttering, apraxia, and autism spectrum disorders. I am proficient in the implementation of augmentative communication systems for children with limited verbal abilities. I am highly skilled in working with children of all ages and levels of severity, and I am passionate about building strong relationships with my clients and engaging them in lively therapy sessions. I work closely with caregivers to ensure that newly acquired skills are extended into a variety of settings, and I am committed to helping my clients achieve their full potential.
I graduated from Cal State University Northridge in 2010 with a master’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences. I then worked in the Chicago Public School system for seven years and also at a charter school in Watsonville, CA for two years. I have also worked in skilled nursing facilities and at a private practice specializing in the treatment of stuttering. I have been a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association since 2011.
I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to work with both you and your child.
